So the view from my borrowed hot desk is 11 floors up, with views right out over a sun and sail filled harbour. Not that I have had much time to enjoy it but hey, it beats a brick wall :) And YAY it’s been a very productive work-fest! There is much satisfaction to be gained from gathering clever and committed people together – the energy in such a place is infectious. I’ve managed to break up the sparkly thinking with a few strong black coffee’s next to the water. And enjoyed drinkies with bossman at the viaduct last night. Oh and shared a bottle of bubbly with the most fabulous travelling companion, over some very fine prosciutto en melone followed by steamed green lipped mussels. Sigh.
My cup is three-quarters full today.
Update: Just in Quantas lounge and my favourite cricketer is less than 10 feet away (stay cool, stay cool)…
