warning: this post may contain news

So it’s been a while since the decision was made, and following the more recent announcement at Corporate Lackey HQ, I can now let you know that we’ve decided to go to London. To live. Yes, him too. And probably him. For how long? I don’t know. A few years.

We fly out in February but have a load of logistics to get through first. Namely moving out of #54, putting all of my stuff in storage and moving to Science Guy’s house. I’ve got a couple weeks to pile my house into ’storage’ ‘lend’ ‘give-away’ and ‘chuck’ piles and make sure all the piles go into the right boxes. We are both flipping out, just a bit. But in a really really excited way.

The crappest part has been the decision to adopt George out. He’s just not the sort of furry guy that could handle the trauma of packing and moving. Or the flight. And I could not bare the whole Schrodinger’s Cat experiment at the other end. He needs lots of love and attention, warm spots to sleep in. Many pats. So a lovely family are going to take him back to Khandallah on Saturday. By the time we return, he’ll probably be eating organic, have two last names and his own iPod.
