friday five: missed connections

‘Messages in bottles, smoke signals, letters written in the sand; the modern equivalents are the funny, sad, beautiful, hopeful, hopeless, poetic posts on Missed Connections websites. You may or may not know this sas but when I come to your site I have to log into twitter first because you are ‘protected’ on twitter. Mine was the same so I took the widget off my blog. Just so you know.

I often wonder at the futility of Missed Connections posts, but these make them so much more hopeful and real. Lovely.
