haiku: epic epicurean ecstacy

His suit. New frock, heels.
Leather chairs, whisky shot
a cinnamon bellini,

all before we reach
the dining room. Westminster
a short walk away,

I wonder what deals
have been struck within these walls,
over an expensed lunch.

We are toasting much:
his new job and one year here;
Science Guy’s awesomeness.

And so we embark
on ten courses of food porn.
Spicy and tender,

and that’s just the wine.
A marathon not a sprint,
I fail to pace and

find myself toasted
by the fifth course. Then loudly
exclaim my ecstasy

at the Wagyu beef
and perfectly matched Cab Sauv.
Harry meets Sally.

We fall into a
black cab and snog our way home.
Not yet satiated.

Oooh, great wine, great food, a great man, and a new dress. Lucky you :)I was disappointed to see Mitosis Process has gone. I was looking forward to following SG's progress. I hope everything is going well there
