friday five: anthropomorphic curios

NB: Today’s Friday Five is sponsored by Rex. He has broken ‘the first rule of cat club’ and is communicating with the humans. You can follow his whinging about biscuits and pathetic attempts to get ladies to pat him astute and considered commentary about life as head of neighbourhood watch and controller of the west bound district line (yes really) at @emorexinator.

The Grand Ole Bestiary is a collection of faux-antique, anthropomorphic, mythological curios. Each one carefully recovered from ancient catacombs discovered buried deep inside the molten core of a metaphysical holy mountain.’

Rex may be interested in Aurora’s blog

    http://www.catster.com/cats/961659/diary

She doesn’t blog often due to it taking her so long to tap on the keyboard with her claws and her lack of opposable thumbs.

Apparently she is growing some opposable thumbs under the bath so soon she will be able to type faster….

I imagine this is the sort of touch-up fun Jack Maddox would have had in the early days of The House of Eliott when he was society photographer!

And Rex is indeed the Julio Inglesias of Twitter ;)
