Glastonbury is on. And Wimbledon. You can’t turn around in Marks and Spencer’s without knocking over a bloody great wall of Kentish strawberries. We have the fan going all night, sleeping under just a sheet. There is no air conditioning in any pre-war building (so that would be most of them then). The tube is hell. on. earth. The stench of sweaty pits makes ones eyes water. Yesterday I couldn’t face my usual coffee. I bought a Frappachino people! *shakes head in shame*
And at almost 10pm, the light is finally fading. Its still 25 degrees with a slight breeze. Somewhere on a boat on the Thames, my beloved is belting out Johnny Cash on a karaoke with his workmates. And here at home, I have Zero 7, the twitters, and a full heart.
I fucking love this town.

Edinburgh feels like it is being steamed beneath a hot, wet wool blanket. Window open, sleeping with just a sheet: check and check.
I shall be in London soon! Just for a couple of days but I’m looking forward to it. Every time I’m in London I spend the whole time thinking “I’m in London…I’m in London.”
Zero 7! Excellent group.
Minneapolis has been its usual, unpredictable self. I may have to turn the air on…
Sorry to hear that you had to buy a frappacino. :-) Unseemly.

Manefesting, manefesting, manefesting.
I visited the big smoke on Monday ~ feels so much hotter in a city! Glad to be back in the country! Emma x
I love this video! Brits definitely do suffer from midsummer madness when the sun comes out. Frappachino though… ?!
That is a great video! I can’t believe I’m sitting in my living room with my gas fire on – it’s flippin’ freezing up in Glasgow!
Really enjoying summer, finally, at last. It will last won’t it?? x
Oh that made me miss London SO much! :(
