December 9 – Party: what social gathering rocked your socks off in 2010? Describe the people, music, food, drink, clothes, shenanigans.
Once upon a time in January 2010, in a land not very far away, a 100-year-old stone cottage waited patiently, covered in fresh snow. On a random Friday evening in January, eight princesses made their way to the Gloucestershire countryside to gather at the cottage and were greeted by the resident Ghost Cat.
One flew all the way from southern California and was like, totally the raddest ever princess. Two drove from London (accidentally shop-lifting wine gums along the way). Still more arrived by train, bringing magic and sweetness and very crucial information about how ones goes about attaining ones ‘brown wings’. When the most stylish and local of the princesses arrived, the coven was complete. And within what seemed like moments, the cottage was reverberating with the sound of corks popping, a crackling fire, and much laughter. It was all kinds of awesome.
For three days and two nights these red hot bitches made sweet scented magic. The alchemy of glorious food, tarot, Reiki, story sharing and truth telling, with many spectacular boob-to-boob hugs ensured the princesses were nourished and nurtured under the waxing crescent moon. Truly it was a bliss-filled time of belonging and acceptance in the most soulful of ways; they like totally resonated the shit out of each other.
And when the princesses left the cottage, the snow had melted. They travelled back to real life, knackered, enchanted, honoured: their voluptuous cups runnethed over.

hello lovely!
my top tips: reach out to bloggers or people you want to meet. we had read each others blogs for years and so we kind of knew each other and we have been really lucky for no one is too weird :)
maybe start with a small group at first, perhaps for coffee. it can be scary meeting people for the first time – especially if you only know each other from the interwebs.
its a joy to make new friends – this group of women have become incredibly important to me.
best of luck :)
