This morning my rss feed was so packed with goodness, I had to share. You’re so very welcome dear reader.

That Brooklyn house is stunning. It reminds me of when we nearly purchased a 1920′s art & crafts style fixer-upper in Western Massachusetts. It would have required a LOT of work and money to bring it back to its glory and we realized that we are just not those kind of people that do this. It’s so disruptive to your life while the work is being done and unless you have enough money to pay someone else to do it quickly it can turn into a neverending DIY nightmare – no fun when you are also working full-time. Still, I am glad there are people who are not afraid of the process and who breathe life back into these gorgeous older properties that we can then drool over.

Completely agree about the no fun if you are also working!
I spent 14 weeks doing up a 1920s cottage in wellington. I loved the process but only because i ensured my role was to pick out paint, carpet, and furniture.
I didn’t want to learn how to ‘do’ the work – just enjoy the results.
I’d love to do it again.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pencils!
this list is totally full of happy. LOVE the pencil.
