Watts once said: any attempt to define oneself is like 'trying to bite ones own teeth'. Anyway. I am an ENTP, a Four, a Libran and a Water Ox; scatterbrained, organised, coulrophobic, messy, hopeful, sarcastic, optimistic, romantic.
I ♡ freshly ground black coffee, travelling on trains, white roses, hugs, finishing crosswords, steak medium-rare, a well-turned phrase, big-brained scientists, the departure lounge, my homemade marmalade on toasted crumpets, hand-written letters, the possibility of aliens, the possibility of god, remote New Zealand beaches, jazz trumpets, the colour red, rom-coms, the information superhighway, organic shapes, the poetry of ee cummings, the Bach cello suites of Yo-Yo Ma, ad-free content, picnics, pay day, and a good night's sleep.
I live London with the techie beekeeping paramour (ash) and the furs (rex & badger).

Hi Sas!
I found your details on your blog, I hope you might be able to help me with my strange request!
I am a Producer working on a television show called House Hunters International which follows English speaking expats in their quest to purchase a house abroad. I am hoping to find English speaking expats to profile who are living in Enland. I wonder if you or any of your expat contacts might be interested in getting involved?! I would love to find out more about your story! Please find a little blurb about the show below:
House Hunters International is a half-hour program currently airing on the Home and Garden Television Network (HGTV) in America.
The series is designed to de-mystify the international home-buying process by going behind the scenes of a house hunt where buyers and their real estate agents tour 3 homes.
At its core, House Hunters International is a travel show concentrating on the idiosyncrasies of the locales and what makes them special and different.
Please get in touch if you have any more questions about the show. I look forward to hearing from you!
Best wishes and many thanks,
Michelle

Michelle – thanks for the message – I’ll email you :)
I went over to her site and couldn’t figure out how simon knew so much about the pictures. I also love the girl looking out the window, and the bubbles.

Exquisite. I’m rather glad I subscribed here. Am enjoying you.
I love the simplicity of these pictures… yet they’re so beautiful! The last one reminds me of my hubby & I at night while he’s studying and I’m blogging. Thanks for sharing!

These are so wonderful.
I especially love the 3rd one. That little spot of sun, it makes me feel so warm.
When the sun decides to shine in Welly these days it is most glorious around 5.30pm in the evening streaming in our lounge. Em runs down after her bath (in the “noots”) to roll in a little patch of it.
The other day she raced down, unfortunately it was a bit overcast and she exclaimed “Oh no, where’s the sun?”, it was her first proper sentence. Given “book” was her first word I think our girl has her priorities right!

we should all spend more time rolling around in the sunshine, noots!
she has been sent to teach us.
