In the last couple of hundred hours:

• Discovered Badger frotting the laundry basket and howling her sexiness at neighbourhood boy cats. She is now fixed and has dedicated her life to the pursuit of biscuits. And sleeping.
• Consumed 6 bowls of granola, 2 pints of non-fat greek yogurt and a small bucket of blueberries.
• And three chocolate lamingtons (chef credit: O’Kane Partnership).
• And fresh fat scallops and dead baby lamb at belated Waitangi Day dinner.
• Woke up at stupid-o’clock on Saturday morning to get to the Market for Waitangi Day dinner supplies.
• Celebrated Valentines alone with truly rubbish movie (it had That Welsh Bird in it, the one that married that guy from Cuckoos Nest) while Science Guy went to an ‘unmissable football match’.
• Was treated to spontaneous slightly drunken, post-unmissable game stumble into bedroom with bunch of flowers (that have since died).
• Went to The River Cafe for the best dressed crab ever in the history of the world (we’re talkin’ TUXEDO delicious)
• Crab was followed by a juicy seabass.
• And then an innocent looking tart called ‘chocolate nemesis’ that turns into a rich mousse on contact with tongue. Oh yeah.
• Went to gym four times.
• Argued with current fiancé en-route to perusing wedding rings (His fault. Was so).
• Drove back and forth up the sodding M3 several times.
• Discovered that someone has dedicated themselves to Blazing Smokes PR. Best factoid: ‘the railway station’s gents’ toilet was bombed by the IRA in 1993, and the macheted to death body of a Buddhist monk was found in a suitcase left there, and is also the highest sation above sea level between London and Southampton’.
• Counted 21 more sleeps until the Amazingstoke Project is over.
• Bought two tops from Anthropologie.
• Wore one to interview in the City.
• Answered 156 psychometric testicles (findings still outstanding).
• Got laid twice.
• Once while wearing this.
• Signed up to Up & Running.
• Bought frock for nuptials. Online. Without supervision.
