We had so much fun hanging out with Pen & Cam around our ‘hood, I almost forgot they were busy snapping away. And then New Job started and its been a week of crazy hours for both of us; we kind of forgot about the photos. I got Pen’s email on my way to work on Wednesday, I couldn’t resist looking as soon as I got to the office! Scrolling through the images at my desk, I had to blink back tears – the photos are just so perfect. I love the old tones and rich hues – they are like edible paintings. Somehow Pen & Cam managed to capture ‘us’.
I know that when he gets on my last nerve, I will look back on these images and probably forgive him. Because they are just so pretty.
We are three months out from the wedding and its been such a fun, easy time getting it all sorted. It’s starting to get quite exciting now: my frock is on its way, he’s been measured for a suit, plane tickets have been purchased by the kiwi contingent. And we haven’t even got to the cake tasting yet!
I can’t quite believe I got this lucky.

Now I’m all teary. These radiate happiness. True contentment and love in being in each other’s presence. Just the wee bit I know you I think you are all that and more. Just wonderful. And I have a sneakin’ suspicion the man is too. Truly happy for both of you.
