Friday night 10 Pin Bowling with Phil & Tom, The Wise Ones, and Mr & Mrs Skeeterific (Ash got two strikes. This was unexpectedly sexy). We then took a meander through a sticky, hot Soho (past Bertrand Russell’s house!) for Beijing Dumplings (divine). The rain and district line engineering works kept us home-based on Saturday; today was made of the papers, Sunday lunch at our local and the final instalment of Harry Potter.

Shopping at Lakeside (aargh) – clothes for husband, due to me simultaneously ruining six of his T shirts. Did you know that if you fold them over the washing line at armpit level and then forget them for a couple of days, the sun will bleach a lovely white line across the front? Me neither.
New bag, purse and notebook
Driving from one restaurant to another at 6pm Sunday evening trying to find somewhere that wasn’t packed with an hour wait to be seated. Failed. Ended up in the local Wetherspoon. By then, we were so hungry food was food.
